Bread & Butter, Cabernet Sauvignon expresses captivating aromas of mocha, ripe berries, violets, and blackcurrant with intertwining layers of subtle black pepper, toasted oak and rich vanilla. Lively and complex, this beautifully crafted Cabernet Sauvignon enters the palate with layers of ripe blackberry and chocolate covered cherries.
JJ Hahn, Homestead Cabernet Sauvignon has an enticing aromas of sweet black currants, blackberry, cake spice, and a hint of chocolate. As the wine opens a waft of perfume reminiscent of black berry fruits, nutmeg and cassis, with a background hint of sweet oak fills the nose.
Lapostolle, Grand Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 - Very attractive currants with floral undertones on the nose, following through to a medium body with fine tannins and a fresh, minerally finish. Some crushed-stone undertones. Sweet fruit in the center palate.
Ken Forrester Vineyards, Petit Cabernet Sauvignon is actually picked by hand despite being Forrester’s entry-level wine, and sees no wood. It has a very pleasant Médoc-inspired bouquet. The palate is quite sharp on the entry, then mellows on the midpalate, offering pretty, graphite-tinged red fruit and a well-defined finish.
