Description: "The 2020 The FMC is pure Chenin from bush vines planted in 1974, represents Forrester's 21st vintage and was matured in 400-litre oak for 10 to 12 months; this cuvée is a selection of the best barrels. This is one of my favourite whites from Forrester with gorgeous yellow plum, honeysuckle and hints of dried honey from the odd botrytised berries. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening, a little more honeyed than previous vintages with notes of grapefruit, kumquat and orange pith; the 2020 is very pithy towards the finish. This is a very engaging and cerebral FMC. Superb. " - Neal Martin
